Introduction Bulgogi is one of the most famous Korean dishes worldwide. It consists of thinly sliced beef marinated in a sweet and savory sauce made from soy sauce, sugar, and Korean pear. It is usually grilled to perfection, creating a smoky, caramelized flavor that is loved by people of all ages.

Main:
- 500g Beef Ribeye or Sirloin (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 Onion, sliced
- 1 Green Onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds (garnish)

Marinade Sauce:
- 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Sugar (or Brown Sugar)
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Grated Pear (Optional, makes the meat tender)
Instructions
- Make the Marinade: In a large bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients (Soy sauce, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, pepper, and pear).
- Marinate the Beef: Add the sliced beef and onions to the bowl. Mix well by hand to ensure every piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (overnight is best).
- Cook: Heat a skillet or grill pan over high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned and caramelized. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Serve: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve with steamed rice and kimchi!
